Is ZynPey free to use?
Yes. ZynPey is free, with no subscription and no in-app purchases.
Do I need to create an account?
No. There's no account system, sign-up, or login — open the app and start tracking straight away.
Is my financial data sent to a server?
No. Everything is stored in a local database on your device. Nothing leaves your phone automatically — the only way data goes elsewhere is if you explicitly export or share it yourself.
What does the SMS permission actually do?
It's optional and off by default. When you turn on Bank SMS Tracking, ZynPey reads bank/UPI/card transaction alerts from your inbox and extracts only the amount, date, direction, a reference id, and a merchant name — never full message text, OTPs, or unrelated messages. Parsing happens entirely on your device, and you can revoke the permission at any time.
Can I import my bank statement?
Yes — CSV, Excel (.xlsx), and text-based PDF bank statements are supported. Scanned or image-only PDFs can't be read. Every imported row is shown for review before anything is saved.
How do I back up my data?
Use Backup & Restore in Profile to create a local backup file. Restoring validates the file first, and your current data is kept as a safety copy until the restore finishes successfully.
Is ZynPey available for iPhone?
Yes, ZynPey is built for both Android and iOS.
How do I delete my data?
Delete individual transactions or items from where they appear, remove an entire import batch from Import History, or use "Clear All App Data" in Profile to permanently erase everything on your device. See our Data Deletion Policy for details.
